At Comida Mateo, our mission is to produce high-quality, tasty, and healthy food products for the people of Edinburgh using top-quality ingredients and no preservatives. We believe that everyone deserves access to fresh, nutritious, and delicious food that is made with care and attention to detail.

We understand that in today's fast-paced world, it can be challenging to find time to cook meals from scratch. That's why we aim to make it easy for our customers to enjoy homemade-style food that is healthy, delicious, and convenient.

QUALITY & TASTE:

We believe in using only the best ingredients in our products. By using fresh and natural ingredients, we can create food products that are not only delicious but also good for your health.

We are a family business, and we take pride in our products and the service we provide to our customers.

Where others are using cheap vegetable oils - we use finest extra virgin olive oil, where others use italian style cheese substitutes - we use quality Pecorino Romano cheese, where others use the main ingredient as flavouring or colourises - we use it as meal's base.

SUSTAINABILITY:

Leading a healthy, sustainable business is our top priority. Majority of our products are vegetarian, some of them vegan. Our products will arrive in a glass(discount can be offered if glass jars are returned to us!) or compostable packagings. Food will be prepared on your request to minimise the food waste, will be delivered in cargo bike and ingredients will be bought in the local area to minimise the carbon footprint.

COMMUNITY:
